Our resort is surrounded by pristine wilderness in the Cariboo district of British Columbia. We sit at 3700 feet above sea level and have breathtaking views. We offer snowmobiling, fly fishing, ice fishing, ecological hikes, ATV excursions, cross-country skiing, canoeing, snow shoeing and horseback riding. Relax in our full service spa, steam room and hot tub. |
Description of Loon Bay Resort :
Loon Bay Resort is located in the heart of the Interlakes Area in the beautiful South Cariboo. Hwy 24, also known as the "Fishing Hwy", brings you right to the Resort entrance on paved highway all the way. We are in a small bay of Sheridan Lake which, with a length of 9 miles and a surface area of over 4000 acres, is the largest lake in the area. The Resort is spread over 23 acres with 2,000 feet of shoreline providing waterfront settings for most of our RV sites. We offer 30/15 amp power with full and partial hook-ups. Large tenting sites are also available. For the "Non-RVer", we have modern Log Cabins with full amenities plus summer cabins with kitchenettes. All Cabins face south with views of the lake. We offer canoe & boat rentals, fishing licences, cement boat launch, gasoline, ice and camp store. We have laundry facilities, coin operated showers and a sani-dump. Nearby are propane, groceries, a fresh bakery, liquor store and restaurants. For your pets we have a large fenced dog exercise/play area |
