Description of Wright's Beach Camp RV Park:
Wright's Beach Camp family campground is located at the south end of Penticton on Skaha Lake. Campground facilities include a private sandy beach with a roped off swimming area and dock, a quiet atmosphere, waterfront tenting sites, waterfront partial hook-up sites including 15 amp power and water. Also available at Wright's are beachfront full hook-up sites including 30 amp power, water, sewer and cable TV, a convenience store, clean washrooms with coin operated showers, many shady spots that can accommodate larger units, internet access, a picnic table at every site, and an arcade. |
Description of Woss Lake Provincial Park:
This rugged, undeveloped wilderness park is located on northern Vancouver Island, south of the community of Woss and north of Zeballos.
There are no recreation facilities in Woss Lake Provincial Park, but adventurous visitors with a boat, canoe or kayak can enjoy various activities ranging from backcountry hiking, skiing and mountaineering to camping, fishing, First Nations and nature appreciation and hunting.
There are no designated campsites at this park, however random wilderness camping is allowed. |

Wallace Island Provincial Marine Park, located in beautiful Trincomali Channel between the northern ends of Saltspring Island and Galiano Island, is a popular destination for boaters and kayakers exploring the southern Gulf Islands.
The numerous beaches, coves and offshore islets provide plenty of sheltered paddling opportunities in this picturesque park, which is ideal for day trips from Vancouver Island and overnight camping.
This park has limited development, but offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing and hiking.
Wilderness, walk-in camping is allowed in the park, which is accessible by boat only. There are 9 sites with tent pads at Chivers Point and 1 site at Cabin Bay – both sites are ideal for kayak camping. Approximately 8 open field sites are available at Conover Cove; these sites are adjacent to dock facilities and stern tie rings.
