Wright's Beach Camp family campground is located at the south end of Penticton on Skaha Lake. Campground facilities include a private sandy beach with a roped off swimming area and dock, a quiet atmosphere, waterfront tenting sites, waterfront partial hook-up sites including 15 amp power and water. Also available at Wright's are beachfront full hook-up sites including 30 amp power, water, sewer and cable TV, a convenience store, clean washrooms with coin operated showers, many shady spots that can accommodate larger units, internet access, a picnic table at every site, and an arcade.

Guests are asked to bring their own bedding and coolers for their food. Lighting is provided by a light plant for approximately 4 hours each evening.

Bowron Lake Park is a large wilderness area situated on the western slopes of the Cariboo Mountain Range. The world-renowned Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit encompasses a 116 km chain of lakes, waterways and connecting portages. This wilderness canoe trip takes from 6 to 10 days to complete, depending on your time frame and skill level. For those looking for a shorter trip, the west side of the circuit can be paddled in 2 to 4 days. It is recommended that those who attempt the circuit have some wilderness canoeing experience. Bowron Lake Park also has a very pleasant 25 unit drive-in campground. The campground is located near the Registration Centre a short distance from Bowron Lake itself. There are also a few short walking trails nearby. Increased park visitation during recent years has placed a great deal of pressure on the park’s resources. If we are to preserve the wilderness experience, it is up to each visitor to treat this special area with the respect it deserves. Two commercial resorts and a general store located near the park entrance offer a variety of services: camping supplies, outdoor gear, canoe and kayak rentals, a restaurant, and food. The unique geography of Brooks Peninsula offers everything from inter-tidal marine life to a sub-alpine mountain environment. Salt water fishing is popular in this park, particularly for salmon, rockfish and halibut. Power Lake, accessed via Ououkinsh Inlet, offers opportunities for fresh water fishing.

Parking is located within 100 metres from the beach. There is room for 10 to 12 tents on the beach.
