Wright's Beach Camp family campground is located at the south end of Penticton on Skaha Lake. Campground facilities include a private sandy beach with a roped off swimming area and dock, a quiet atmosphere, waterfront tenting sites, waterfront partial hook-up sites including 15 amp power and water. Also available at Wright's are beachfront full hook-up sites including 30 amp power, water, sewer and cable TV, a convenience store, clean washrooms with coin operated showers, many shady spots that can accommodate larger units, internet access, a picnic table at every site, and an arcade. |

Fresh water adventure seekers will not want to miss a visit to Sproat Lake Provincial Park in the Alberni Valley on central Vancouver Island. Located 15 minutes west of Port Alberni, Sproat Lake is a favoured location for swimming, fishing, waterskiing and, when the wind is up, windsurfing.
Two separate campgrounds and a large day-use area make this park a popular destination for campers and picnickers, who come here to enjoy the host of recreational pursuits available or just relax in the sun by the warm lake.
The Lower campground has 15 sites and is located close to the lake. The Upper campground, with 44 sites, is located across the highway from the lake and is connected to the lower campground and beach access by a trail that leads through a highway underpass. Winter camping with limited facilities is available at the lower campground and a winter fee is in place.

One of the park's main attractions is the annual run of thousands of Pacific salmon circling in the pool below Stamp Falls before ascending the fish ladders on their way to spawning beds. Lookout points along the river offer excellent views of the salmon fighting their way up the falls and fish ladders. This natural phenomenon occurs every year, starting in late August with sockeye and continuing with coho and Chinook right into December.
This park offers 23 vehicle accessible campsites set in a mature forest. A number of these sites overlook the river.
Fishing is allowed in Stamp River park, but is closed 200m above & 500m below Stamp Falls from June 15 to November 15. Boundary markers are located on trees along the river.

There is a boat launch for car top boats.
A public boat launch is located in the town of Savona, a 2 minute drive from the park.
Fishing for trout, salmon and of course steelhead is popular.

There is salmon fishing in the Stein River. Stein Lake has been stocked in the past. The river and lakes are not known for good fishing.

Existing in the Stikine River Provincial Park is a geological feature unparalleled in Canada. Eighty kilometres of steep-walled canyon, composed of sedimentary and volcanic rock, has been carved through eons of river erosion. In the bottom of this sometimes 300 m deep chasm flows the wild and unnavigable Stikine River, which varies in width from 200 m to as little as 2 m at a point near the Tanzilla and Stikine confluence.
A primitive boat launch is available on the west side of the highway #37 bridge.
Fish year-round for a variety of native species including Dolly Varden, Arctic grayling and rainbow trout, or try for Chinook salmon or steelhead during the late summer and fall.
